The two issues of Alternative Curriculum are very crucial because they are very relevant in overcoming the aftermath of the tsunami. Issues on water conservation need to be addressed since healthy water is vital to the survival of the community, while after the tsunami healthy water becomes very expensive commodity. Therefore people of Aceh should be prepared to conserve the water. To achieve this objective the first step is to educate the schoolchildren about the importance and conservation of water.
